Kayla Swing is a member of Da'naxda'xw First Nation and was raised in Comox, BC. She is a recent graduate who completed a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Applied Ethics at the University of Victoria in 2020, and an Archaeological Field Assistant Certificate program at Camosun College in 2019. Kayla strives to do work that is heart-led, community-centered, and collaborative. She gratefully lives on the beautiful and unceded territories of the Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, where in her spare time she enjoys kayaking, reading, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
