The International Institute for Child Rights and Development is featured in 2getherLAND: Global 2020.
These virtual sessions, hosted by Act2Gether, focuses on the conditions for children and adults to partner, through the metaphor of the Forest. The organizers call this approach “serious fun”, for children and adults alike.
IICRD will host two sessions during the gathering:
- Art, Play and Nature for Well-being, hosted by Laura Lee, Justin Young, Laura Wright, and Vanessa Currie (July 21st)
- Chronicling Resilience in Climate Change: Intergenerational Experiences from Indigenous People in Canada, hosted by Cheyenne Stonechild with guidance from Elder Bill White (a recorded workshop)
