Michael Miner (BA in Applied Social Sciences; MA in International and Community Development) has 35-years of international development experience in 118 countries worldwide, delivering evaluations and
managing projects for bilateral, multilateral, country, and NGO donors. Michael has led 36 international development evaluations and has been a team member on 41 other evaluations and worked as a
monitor in 10 countries. He has also worked extensively in child rights and child protection including with the IICRD led Child Protection Partnership (CPP) in Thailand and with the South East Asian Program in Human Development (SEARCH) in which IICRD was a partner. Michael was the Regional Director for the 6-year SEARCH project. He has worked on several child protection projects in South East Asia with PLAN,
UNICEF, SAVE, World Vision, and several Government of Australia supported projects. Other areas of expertise include the design of human rights systems, organizational development, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, cross-cultural communication, and diversity and inclusion. He has worked with 18 bilateral and 16 multilateral development agencies including 10 UN agencies. He has also worked
more than 100 international non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, private sector organizations, and foundations, and universities.
