Rachel Wong is a Master of Public Health graduate, specializing in Global Health. During her practicum in South Africa she worked on projects related to reproductive health and HIV/AIDS. This opportunity sparked her interest to investigate the links between fathering behaviour and attitudes and intimate partner violence in South Africa for her capstone project. She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Nutrition. During her undergraduate studies, she interned in Rwanda to develop knowledge translation materials on micronutrient powder to combat infant and young child malnutrition.
Rachel is grateful for the opportunity to learn and work with the IICRD. She has an interest in program planning and evaluation, and she hopes to contribute her skills towards achieving health equity and social justice for the most marginalized communities around the world.
