Our Principles

Our Principles

To give rights local meaning and catalyze positive change we use the following five principles to guide our work.

Using these principals, we catalyze positive change for children and their communities by:

  • Starting with young peoples’ own experience
  • Understanding the facts on risk and protection in the context of social transformation
  • Giving rights local meaning
  • Supporting the process of strategic systems strengthening
  • Acting as a bridge (connecting and creating common understanding and goals between different actors and systems), and
  • Sharing the learning, from the inside out and bottom up!

Imagine a world where we build on the core strengths of children, their families, and communities, to create dignity, belonging, and justice for all.
