Gary Robinson’s passion is in international development. He presently works with Child Rights Education for Professionals (CRED-PRO). His projects are based primarily in Latin America and Canada. Dr. Robinson was a volunteer in Colombia where he lived for two years. He followed this with a tour in Central America based in El Salvador. He was a USAID management advisor in Costa Rica, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic and for the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland where he worked in Congo (Brazzaville), Nepal, Chile and Trinidad. He has developed programs and conducted organizational audits and evaluation in numerous countries including South Africa, Syria, Jordon, Egypt, Peru, Honduras and the Dominican Republic. Dr. Robinson is the Chair of General Business at Capella University. His teaching, research and consulting has been in international management, organizational development, human resource management and socio-economic and health development in developing countries. He is an active member of the Academy of Management where he serves as a reviewer and sessional chair. He presents regularly at professional conferences and has written chapters in two books.
