Renee Lormé-Gulbrandsen


Renee Lormé-Gulbrandsen:  Having spent 11 years in administration and operations for nonprofit and voluntary sector organizations, Renee has dedicated her career to supporting the day to day activities of the organizations’ core operations, and has contributed to the strategic growth and functioning of the organizations and their initiatives. While she is currently the Administrative Director for the BC Sustainable Energy Association, Renee spent 8 years with IICRD in a variety of capacities - from programming to administration - and brings a historical lens to her role on the IICRD board of directors, along with her background in climate action and clean energy sustainability.  

Renee has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with Distinction (concentration in Social Justice) and a minor in Psychology from the University of Victoria, and will hold a certification in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Management from Ryerson University (April 2017). She is a 20 year volunteer having worked with local organizations including the Victoria Women’s Transition House, UVic’s Positive Space Network and Saanich Minor Hockey Association. Renee lives in Victoria, BC with her husband and two sons.
